For a cool or rainy day, this may be one that soothes your soul. The Spiced Vanilla Turmeric Tea does contain dairy but also contains a combination of clove, cinnamon, turmeric and vanilla. Cloves are the flower buds of the clove tree, an evergreen. We do not boast that this is the healthiest drink but rather something you may consider if you would like to introduce a few herbs and spices to your diet. Spices like clove, for instance, which is said to be a warming spice can carry several benefits that you are not as familiar with. Cloves vitamins such as vitamin c & vitamin K, minerals such as manganese, and fiber. Even traces of Magnesium and calcium can be found in clove. These things can be good for strengthening the immune system, building stronger bones, and maintaining brain function. Some studies have shown clove to improve liver health and help reduce stress due to the fact that they are considered to be high in antioxidants. As you are making this tea, allow your boiling water to steep for 10 minutes or so, allowing the clove to really permeate and provide a soothing warm drink. Potential benefits such as helping to reduce stomach ulcers and helping in the journey to regulate blood sugar may prove all the more warming.

The added combination of ginger and turmeric also come with their own potential benefits. These two combined may also help to reduce inflammation, support your immune system, ease pain and reduce nausea. Curcumin is one of the active ingredients in the dietary spice turmeric and traditional herbal remedy, is said to have significant anti-inflammatory properties. Studies have suggested that curcumin can curtail the generation and action several inflammatory molecules.

That said, vanilla bean has had its share of boastful benefits as well so the combination of these ingredients can make for a very fragrant, soul soothing experience. Please keep in mind, this comes in loose form. As such, bear in mind the product contains milk and past the basic recipe, you will need to add or remove to your liking for potency and sweeten to your liking. Suggested sweeteners like maple/agave syrup, coconut sugar, or raw sugar advised unless you prefer other sugar substitutes.
